Hot dip galvanization provides high protection against corrosion. We have decided never to take any shortcuts or make any compromises regarding the quality of our trailers. As a result, many of our trailers are hot dip galvanized. Compared to both pre-galvanization and cold galvanization, the hot dip galvanization provides a deeper chemical bonding and stronger protection from corrosion.
Passivation is an extra layer of protection that is added on top of the galvanization. This process helps preserving the surface ot the product, and adds an extra shine to the finish of the trailer. The chassi of all of our boat trailers, along with several other trailers within our range, are protected with passivation. This will provide protection from corrosion, and extend the lifetime of the trailer significantly.
